Yes. In past seasons the Mole never actively tried to recruit people into coalitions. The Mole is usually approached by someone else to be in a coalition.
I agree but maybe they wanted to make this season different. Remember nobody else knew he was in a coalition with Marcie so he could knock her out without giving himself away. Now if Alex, his fake coalition, went home that would caused some waves. The only issue I see with getting rid of Marcie is that the was already voted most likely the Mole by other players, so you would think the real mole would want to keep her.

The way reality producers have been casting shows lately I can see them going with a Paul type as the mole. Totally against what the Mole should be; loud, arrogant, cocky and just a complete dumbass. God I hope not but I could see it happening. I hope all the TV time he had last week means he is going home soon instead of being in for the long haul!
