To all of those saying "wow I never saw this show before but it sure sucked"...Watch the damn videos online. Season 1 is up in its entirety on Youtube, see for yourself why everyone agrees The Mole 1 and 2 were so fantastic. They didn't dumb anything down for the viewers back then, which made it a pretty fulfilling show to watch
I wrote this semi-scathing review last night, but I think I have to take it all back after rewatching.
The music isn't that bad, it's just new. Kelley as host isn't too bad, but there are some cringe-inducing moments. The biggest problem with the show is the heavy-handed overproduced feel in some spots. The beautiful beach background Kelley stood in front of looked extremely fake to me. Dr. Whiner in front of the "fire" while chatting with the group on the TV at execution was downright amateurish. Too much feels voiceovered.
Little doubt in my mind that Alex is either the winner or the Mole, btw.
