Yep that's the episode I was referring to. I remembered thinking wow that song is perfect. And yeah it was the episode where they all split up, some stayed on the beach and some moved to the caves. I think at the end it showed a split screen of Kate on the beach and Jack at the caves, the two of them sitting there looking... lost.
