heh.

voting in online polls is all "myspace" and all, but unless directv sees an actual uptick in subscribers, assisting limping shows into new lives will not happen.

friday night lights is the key here. any "moonlight"/directv deal will be conditional on the success of fnl.

when fnl airs, my suspicion is that new directv subscribers will flatline, and the torrent activity of those not actually wanting to pay for the new season will spike upward.

you kids and how you do. you want the networks to spend millions to produce your favorite show. but you don't want to spend a penny to enjoy them. the internet is free? right?

and any hope for saving shows "promising millions of faithful viewers" but not delivering "millions of new subscribers"... for a fucking subscription service... will be over.

idiots...

or as we call that... nuts.
