Planet of the Apes.
I really was blown away by Alien but HATED Aliens with the LAAAAME "Newt" sub-story. (Glad she was killed off in the forward to Alien 3.) I liked how "Alein" treated Space Travel as just another CRAP JOB. And the stupid "Evil Guy" Paul Riser character who was only there for you to CHEER when he DIED. And the Transformer Robotic Suit that was only conveniently created to give Ripley a chance at kicking the Alien's ass. GAME OVER, DUDE!!!
The REVERSE for Star Wars and "Empire." A sequel better than the original. How often foes THAT happen??? A long, boring "background" story between when the Droids get captured and the Catina Band scene. You could take a nap then and not miss anything.
