Oh and let me finally dispell the rumor:

DON'T BE AFRAID TO POST!!! They don't care about you people....not unless you make semi-finals or finals and then they tell you to keep it quiet... here's how I know:

1. i have been picked for 7 (yes) 7 semi-finals for these shows and though I have never made it on (yes...sux I know) it hasn't been from posting or videos on u-tube...in fact I have been called twice as a result of videos on u-tube. They don't give a hooten nannie if you have made videos...or love survivor or are trying out.

2. People have actually made it on the show that have posted tube or myspace stuff. John from "Pirates" comes to mind. We were all making fun of his video when we saw it on u-tube while they were casting (he wasa male dancer)...now it came down shortly thereafter and shortly after that we found out why.

3. How about casting calls people. Think about it... Everybody and their dog sees you trying out and getting filmed....OH NO!!!! You just blew your chance...you should have snuck down to the post office whith your brown bag packet and your Groucho Marx glasses with night vision goggles to assure you weren't spotted.

4. I have been told by casting (and Survivor friends of mine) that they don't care if you have been seen before...just once they choose you you should keep quiet. In fact, if they like you enough they have been known to ignore a few of the rules (ie: the going over 3 minutes rule on your video....I'm tired of the people that say "HA...3 minutes 2 seconds!!! YOU BLEW IT!!"...I went 4 minutes one time and got a semi.... (and I got one right now just thinking about it....but thats another story)

5. They don't have time to view as much of this sh*t as y'all think...besides...we really aren't that important or interesting.

Hope that helps....but overall....don't be so paranoid people....have fun and relax. If you get a call....ask them what that want you to do...
