I got a call yesterday to fill in for someone who had to cancel last minute. I'll spend about 25 minutes, taste a burger & fries, and make $16 on Sunday. If you are willing to take last minute calls they will usually double the shop fee. I'll get reimbursed for the meal that I don't want but am obligated to taste. Since I accepted this as a last minute deal I didn't even have to take the 15 minute training & test that you normally have to do when you do a shop for a new-to-you customer.
