ha! I really wanted to be Laura, too. I used to imagine my hair getting long enough that I could do it up in a mass of braids.
Speaking of hair, there's a scene in one of the books, where they're sleigh riding or something, and Mary Power (who was also awesome) was wearing a switch or something? I assumed it was fake hair, but does that mean that she didn't have long long hair? That always confused me, I imagined her hair falling off and her being totally bald.
