I saw the very start of this, which my ur-Tivo pinned onto the end of Japanese Game Show before it clipped off after the first five minutes.

Whoa. That guy clearly has some issues, just on the little bit I saw. I loved the shot of the cameraman diligently filming the interview as he was being sniffed by a bear. A FUCKING BEAR! And this as the announcer says "Clearly we had to go back on some promises made in New York, such as not being alone with the bears."

However, I did see the full ep of the installment from two weeks ago, about the Amish teens who run away from their families. Riveting, heartwrenching stuff. I particularly liked the silhouetted interview with the elders, who 'fessed up to owing a '67 Barracuda on the side back in the day.

And the kid with the tricked-out horse buggy? I want one of those.

I missed the monkey ep, but this sounds like it's a very cool series overall. I'm adding it to series record.

ETA: you all do realize that this is a special run of Primetime, which is normally a true crime show -- this is Primetime Outsiders. They're examining people who live on the fringe of society.

Be sure to catch the forthcoming ep about Survivor Sucks OSTS.
