I've been spending some time this summer re-watching all of the prior seasons. I watched all of season 2 in the last 5 days. The one question I have is why did Michael confess to killing Anna Lucia and Libby. He could have easily said that he took AL's gun when she wasn't looking and gave it to Henry(Ben) and he killed them. Also why didn't Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Hurley just say "screw you and your kid" to Michael after his confession? How many lives is Walt worth? Also why did they continue to walk into the trap after Michael's confession? What was the rush in getting Walt back? Also Michael said that the others only had 2 rifles but Michael no longer had his rifle and Jack, Sawyer and Locke gave up their guns to the others so they had at least 7 guns. Nobody did the math and figured they were outgunned?
