TAR hasn't been relevant since Rob & Amber were eliminated from All-Stars...

Uhh... Maybe that's why TAR continues to win Emmies. Cos it's "irrelevant". image

Then why are it's ratings in the toilet?

By toilet you mean increasing every season as compared to Survivor's decreasing every season?

That's not true. The ratings for TAR 10 were consistenty higher than those for TAR AS. It's a known fact that the Fall season episodes that follow the football game over runs get consistently higher ratings than than the episodes that start on time (this is not an issue for the Pacific time zone). Many viewers keep the TV set on CBS after the football game and 60 minutes so the Fall seasons will do consistently than the Spring editions as long as TAR is programmed on Sunday evenings.

It's still wrong to say that TAR's ratings are in the toilets since Survivor's isn't exactly rising like a phoenix either. Don't get me wrong.. I love both shows. (:

Whether or not Survivor's ratings are growing by leaps and bound week in and week out, it is still the highest rated show on the toughest TV night of the week. It is probably the only show that has that distinction to NOT be up for any Emmy's - not including Probst's nom for best host
