I know that, silly bitch. Ideally yes you would want a good actress as well. But in a musical, I want a big and/or great voice that can handle the singing first and foremost. The acting is just not as important to me in a musical. Ideally I'd like someone who can be the triple threat, but that is harder to find.

I saw Linda Eder in Jeckyl and Hyde. Bitch can't act to save her life, and she's not the most captivating presence, but her voice was amazing. I saw it a couple times just to hear her sing those songs. Until she had a concert, it was the next best thing.
