Well if this doesn't validate to me the rationale behind members of the Bush administration being brought up on War Crime charges nothing does.
What an intense condemnation of the entire operation in Iraq and well the antiquated and shameful way our Military is run and administered. It is crime to send those soldiers into any situation (regardless of the validity) with the equipment, communication and inadequate training and leadership. This is shameful on an entirely different level.
What fascinates me is the way they believe their is an agreed upon form of communication between "us" and the "enemy".. yes in the middle of an invasion the locals received the email regarding how to conduct themselves and what to do when they arrive at a roadblock. We cannot even pave a road in our own cities, handle national crisis such as Katrina, educate our youth we would think we could handle a massive war in a country we had no real "beef" with and has been subjugated by an autocrat of their own it makes complete sense that it is now a cluster fuck beyond all proportions.
I honestly cannot say why I have such personal shame.. in that I am an American, that I can no longer even understand the soldiers who "fight" for reasons they don't even know either, for the Iraqi's who good or bad have come to be both victims and perpetrators of their own shit, or because well I know idiots like OG sofa continue to feel the need to demean my opinion because its of an intellect beyond its grasp. How sad that someone cannot even tolerate someone who thinks different than himself.. well it at least explains the mentality of those like Twombly who just want to KILL anyone as it makes him feel less anxious. God help us all.
