Nicole and Craig had equal shots to get the dossier too, they just had to be quicker in solving their tasks than Mark to make up for him being fit.

And Mark hit 2 out of 3 players in the exemption he won, so odds were in his favor that he'd win it. And again the group had a chance to keep the exemption out of his hands by playing smart in the paintball challenge. Especially since Mark didn't know how to shoot the gun, so they had an advantage over him, plus they had Paul who plays paintball on their team.
