I bashed the first few episodes more than almost anyone, but the post-merge was absolutely fantastic. You can't call a season boring when you only watched less than a third of it. That said, yeah, nowhere close to best season ever. The early episodes have their moments but it takes too long for the real action to begin.
I disagree. I thought the premerge episodes of Micronesia were fiercly entertaining. More so that the previous China season. The only duds I consider are episodes 5-8. Everything else is gold. Its funny actually. When I moved into the dorms this year I was trying to get my friends to watch Survivor China. After 6 episodes they quit and said it was the most boring thibg ever. In the spring I got them to try Micronesia and they became hooked. I do agree that Micronesia is not the best season. I would say third.
