Check out the MidAtlantic area...yes it can be hot and humid, but hey, that's why there is air conditioning. NC is home to a bunch of universities and
medical hospitals. Yeah, it's not big city living, and YOU WILL NEED A DAMN CAR, but the cost of living is reasonable and they actually said we have a gay
ghetto in our fair city...lolz.
