The issue was HD DVRs got totally fucking fried, and there was a severe shortage of them. I called every single day to see if there were new boxes available; there weren't. So I canceled in the morning. That night, around 7pm the tech came out to get my box. No one told me this was happening. I just assumed I'd take my box back when I got around to it. He came to get it, took it out, and said that he used to do service calls, but his ONLY job since pretty much every Comcast box SUCKS is picking them up b/c they're short on them. I just know what happened to me and what I was told. I don't give a shit why--saved me a trip from having to deal with the remedials at the Comcast store.
