Gee, gosh - I dunno. Maybe by going on a reality show and deliberately behaving like a cartoon character. It's just a weeeeeeeeeee tad hypocritical to cry "hurt feelers" after doing so, no?

Like I said before - it made for good TV, no doubt about it...but let's not pretend there was any concern for preserving personal dignity or concern for the backlash of negative attention

There's nothing wrong with choosing to go after the villain role, and working hard hard hard to maintain it. But if you do choose that path - own it!!!
