The first half of that sounded like some guy named Bruce. The second half sounded like the fair Doctor.

If that was indeed Will, there must be some bad blood between him and Gretchen that we don't know about. The Doc wouldn't do something of that nature for no reason whatsoever. At least IMO he wouldn't.
