hey y'all! my son jamie's birthday was just two months ago. his brother bobby got him lost on dvd! we all sat around with Michael and watched each and
every episode while i had food cooking in the kitchen. it was a magical show, and made our already wonderful summer even more so. when my little grandbaby
touched the tv when they shot that blonde girl i knew i would remember that forever. life is about holding on to those around you. let me tell y'all that
lost is the show that makes y'all know how good it is to be alive y'all. now this all reminds me of my dead aunt lola. lola was some woman let me tell
y'all! she had a comment for anyone who got in her way, and it wasn't no good one if you got on her wrong side! we would laugh for hours and she was
the queen of tricks! she even had a special meal that she would hide from jamie when he was a little pepperoni. i call it aunt lola's lost pasta!
aunt lola's lost pasta
-1 lbs angel hair pasta
-24 oz of pesto sauce from a bottle y'all. you don't need to make it from scratch now y'all
-1 cup of olive oil
-1/2 cup of mint leaves
-8 oz of tuna from a can
-1 cup mayo y'all
-2 cups of warm melted butter
-1 whole apple. i'd use granny smith y'all
1. boil the pasta until it is good and done y'all
2. put the pesto and olive oil into the pasta. mix it all good
3. in a frying pan put the butter in and get it good and hot y'all. don't burn the butter
4. dice the apple and mix it in a bowl with the tuna, and mayo
5. form the tuna, apple mixture into round balls y'all
6. put them into the hot butter and fry until all good and golden
7. put the balls on the pesto pasta
8. pour the butter used for frying onto the pasta
9. garnish the dish with mint leaves now y'all
10. hide the dish somewhere around your house good now. y'all
this dish is best eaten before a week. so make sure you don't make the game go on too long now y'all! aunt lola made it last for 6 months once, and jamie didn't feel so good when he finally ate it.
i hope my memories make your lost experience all the better. now from my kitchen to yours, this is paula deen wishing you all the best y'all! night!
