Thank you. I stand corrected. I did not know that and I apologize for my mistake.
If an Elder wants to call me an Indian, I will not say Boo about it. If some dumbass who isn't Aboriginal/First Nations/Native American/whatever calls me that, I will say more than BOO.
I do know that where ever and whenever possible, I prefer being called by my Nations name. It is a sign of respect.
