No biggie. I think there is also the same confusion with the terms "Native Americans" vs "Indians." Some native people prefer one term, some the other, some prefer to be identified by their tribe and some don't care which term is used.

As someone who can speak to the Native American vs Indian debate, it really depends on the individual and who is doing the calling.
If an Elder wants to call me an Indian, I will not say Boo about it. If some dumbass who isn't Aboriginal/First Nations/Native American/whatever calls me that, I will say more than BOO.

I do know that where ever and whenever possible, I prefer being called by my Nations name. It is a sign of respect.
