Fiji had 19 players because some white bitch got all scared of like lobsters or somethin' and quit. They shoulda made her sign a contract! They flew her ass all the way to Fiji, so she shoulda been made to play. It would've cracked my ass up watchin' her get all scared and runnin' from animals and bugs n' shit. Fuck her scaredy ass!

Just as well she bolted. She forced an abrupt change in the producers' game plan. Had she stuck around, we would have had a duplicate of the Cook Islands theme (tribes divided by "race"). Do you really need to reopen that can of race-card worms?

That's just plain false. Sorry.

Actually, it's anything but a falsehood. The producers' goal was to have another race-related season. There were to be four tribes of five each, exactly as the previous season had, but with the opposite numerical orientations of the Cook Islands. As soon as she bailed, everything changed. They weren't expecting not to have even numbers.
No, it would've been the best season ever. Parvati wouldn't of won. =)
Not necessarily, but her game would have been a whole lot harder. And even in hindsight, there's no guarantee a Favorite would have won.

Yea I'm gonna have to pipe in here. I DISTINCTLY remember probst saying that they wanted to try 2 tribes of 10 for the first time. There is no way they could change challenges planned for 4 tribes to 2 in a matter of days... that's rediculous.

And on the Parvati note, I'm pretty sure he meant that Parvati wouldve never been cast, but he'll have to chime in on that.
