I emailed my CBS affiliate and they said it actually is a full two-hour premiere and not back-to-back episodes. But technically, even if it is the first two episodes combined, if they're both under the production code umbrella of 1701, that would qualify as a single two-hour episode. So basically it doesn't tell us anything.
