Well Andrew knows what horses are, so he probably wouldn't have sat for a horse, or a large dog. But he honestly didn't know what the elephant was, and once I told him to stay and he'd be fine, he believed me!

Toy breeds, being that they were bred to be companion/lap dogs, are generally very attached and connected to their owners. Many are "one person"dogs, but Andrew isn't. He loves my husband equally, if not more than me. It cracked me up when Wendy Diamond asked what would happen to Andrew if I died. First of all, ummmmm, thanks for the lovely thought! But secondly, I do have a family and very extensive support system. Andrew would be fine as he would have plenty of caretakers. They acted like he and I live on some isolated island together just the two of us. Totally ridiculous.
