- Henry Rollins is a weird selection because he doesn't really fit in with the timeline. He's definitely more influential than most of the people on
the list though. Black Flag is definitely a key omission from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
- Metallica is another odd choice. Yes, they were hugely successful on 90's era Alternative radio with Black Album/Load/Reload but it's really their 80's metal stuff that made them legendary. Again, doesn't fit with what you were trying to do here which was to create a list of your favorite alternative rock artists from a particular era.
- I absolutely loathe Tool. Maybe it's intelligent & quirky compared to what you hear on the radio, but it's still a pretty big joke overall.
- #1 wasn't a bad choice to end your list. Never been much of a fan although they have plenty of good albums & EPs, it's just that I only keep the great albums in my massive music collection.
