After this clusterfuck is over and hopefully McCain loses, I think one of the big lessons from his fucked up campaign will be:
You don't fuck with the press!
Admittedly, he just hasn't gotten very good press. While it's all been factual, he only makes his case worse. It may appeal to the extremists, red meant factions in his party, but the independent, less partisan votes is really going to be turned off by that nastiness and talk about dishonor and lies.
Incidentally, anyone catch the Rolling Stone article on the fake maverick?
