I totally look up to him.
This may be the real key to Charlie's feelings about Marcus. Yes, there is attraction there, but it borders on hero worship.

Will Marcus "let Charlie down" somehow? Or will the Charlie become the mouse that roared and take Marcus out. Only the long-game will tell.

But as we keep seeing, from the emphasis on the show and online from the editors, this would seem to be the pivotal relationship to the end of this season.

I keep saying this, but it is my current bailiwick de jour.

Three scenarios come to mind:

1) Charlie and Marcus take each other to the final 2 even if it isn't in their best interest (Colby/Tina); Perhaps Charlie takes Marcus to the final two, handing him the million dollars.

2) One betrays the other and it becomes the decisive losing vote on the jury (Kelly/Sue); Perhaps either Marcus or Charlie gets mad at getting voted off and takes it out in the final vote costing the other the win.

3) One is on the jury and the other in the final 2, and the one on the jury decides to stay loyal to the alliance and is the decisive winning vote (Rudy/Rich). Either Marcus or Charlie is in the final 2 and despite getting voted off or a mild sign of disloyalty (like Rich stepping down from the challenge and bragging about his plan in front of Rudy), decides to honor their alliance out of loyalty as Rudy did for Rich.
