Face it. Hetero's just are not interested in dancing. It falls far down the list from:

football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, MMA,boxing Nascar,fishing, bowling, etc..

However, if in fact it was to appear on ABC's Wide World of Sports then I'd watch it like I would watch women's gymnastics, beach volleyball, swimming,, and figure skating where the ladies are all fitted with revealing outfits and are playing sports.
