Actually they could have gotton rid of Ace. It was the perfect time to do it and set themselves up for the merge. Who cares if they lose ICs. If they lose they vote off off Jacquie then Sugar. They keep Fang alive.
Ace was/is the real threat post-merge They should have dumped him when they have the chance. Post merge Ken and GC would not be targets they are no threat win challenges and have little chance of winning a jury vote.
At least voting off Jacquie was their second best move taking out an Ace ally. If they voted off Kelli Ace could get control with Jacquie,Sugar and turning Matt.
