6. Johanna - Sinnoh, Dawn's mommy
You have to give Johanna some credit. She won a Grand Festival, and knows how to put her whiny daughter into her place. And I <3 how when Dawn loses her first contest that instead of being all sympathetic she just tells Dawn to roll with the punches. Unfortunately she's past her own prime and not really a major character, but I don't hate her either. So the middle of the list is the perfect spot for her.
