Hands down Trivial Pursuit. But I can never find people who wanna play it. I have the opposite problem with Monopoly. I fucking hate it and people ask me to play all the time.

I also LOVE Malarky for those of you who are familiar with it.

Scattegories is also fun but you need an impartial referee. Otherwise people will come up with the stupidest shit and you'll be arguing the night away. For instance last time we played, someone had "Lemon" in the "Breakfast food" category and "Magnifying glass" in the "Things you find at the beach" category, which ensued into an hour-long debacle.

Scrabble is also another game that is great on paper but you realize how flawed it is when you play it. I actually make an efort to spell out, real words, while my opponent slaughters me by making combos of about 15 abbreviations just by sticking two or 3 random letters together.
