And yet that was only the second most exciting part of the post...the most exciting being Kathryn. <3 <3 <3 But yeah, the lack of Al and Mark is a little surprising. Heather too. Neat that Jon Kelly showed up.

Prior to the reunion, there was still no word from ABC whether the show would be renewed. The producers were keeping an optimistic outlook on things, however. My question for them would be, "Would a summer run be out of the question at this point, given other projects that you might have in the queue?" I wish they would spend some time reaching out to the fans now like they did when the Save The Mole campaign began.

If it helps, I'm going with the following logic until further notice:
  • If the show returns, it will air in the summer
  • Production, from start to finish, can be completed in as little as 6 months
  • If the show airs in the summer, a renewal notice from ABC will arrive in January/early February at the latest
  • If no notice has arrived by this time, assume the show will not be renewed for that year
Regarding Heather's absence from the pictures, I believe she is late in her pregnancy, so a flight out to LA might not have been the best decision for her. I'm surprised Nicole didn't show up. Maybe she can shed more light when/if she reads this. I'm rather disappointed in Mark's absence, both at the reunion and on the net chatting with fans. I understand that he was offended by some idiotic people here calling him sexist, but what about the other 99% who wanted to congratulate him and pick his brain about what happened on the show? Please come out of hiding, Mark - it's been over 3 months!
