The issue with Randy as far as the others are concerned isn't whether he's vile or not. It's how you send him to the jury still willing to vote for you to receive a million dollars OR taking him to the final 2 with you as your goat.

My biggest problem is that there was too much emotional game play. Whether you like someone or don't like someone is only relevant when you are on the jury. People are in this game to be used and discarded like tissue on your way to the top no matter how you feel about them.

I think you're looking at it too much from a strategic level and not enough as an emotional/entertainment level. If all we got was just analytical playing by the book seasons, we'd be bored to t.ears.

Emotional playing almost always ends up being delicious entertainment.
Well, I wouldn't be bored. What I care about fundamentally is good game play. I think other people may be looking at this show too emotionally and not strategically enough. Whatever. This show satisfies on different levels. I maintain that emotional playing/voting is the cardinal sin of playing the GAME. Bad game play sometimes makes interesting television. Although in a season like S3 where most of the players suck at the game can end up with very frustrating outcomes like Ethan "Forrest Gump-ing" his way into the winner's circle. The first two seasons and last season were particularly wonderful because we had great personalities and wonderful game play. It was incredibly satisfying last season to have 4 strong game players who all made huge power moves to make it to where they are be the final 4 of the season. I would have been happy with any of those four ultimately winning.
