Banquet night bump!!

Hello from New York City, bitches and assholes! I'm at an Internet terminal at a Ben and Jerry's at 43rd St. and 8th Ave. and have about 13 minutes remaining on my card. I still have to check out the Hard Rock Cafe aka Fan Party Central, so this is gona be quick.

The recrap from yesterday (normal disclaimers re: where they're from and editing, bla bla, apply) is too damn long to copy, paste, and butcher the whole thing. So here are the good parts.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champions Week - Day 4: The top performers from the recently completed 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season were honored Thursday at the annual NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Media Luncheon at a hot dog, knish, sausage, pretzel, kabob, yada yada stand at 49th Street and 8th Avenue in New York City. In all, there were lots and lots of awards given out. A boring day, overall, the disappointment of which was punctuated by the failure of the Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch fans whom Jimmie Johnson had thrown from the Pond Bridge in Central Park to appear to beat up Johnson after the Stewie Awards broadcast. The fans were eventually found in a New York City police lockup because, impatient and hell-bent on quick revenge, they had tracked down Chad Knaus and kicked the shit out of him instead. (NA$CAR PR)
