11. Woody (Toy Story/Toy Story 2)
I didn't like Lightning and I am pretty meh on both Mr. Incredible and Flick, but from here on out, I like everyone on the list to varying degrees. So, I do like Woody and think he was a good character (and is basically the pioneer of Pixar protagonists), but unfortunately, there are just others on the list who I like better. Woody is a friendly cowboy doll (action figure?) who belongs to a young boy named Andy. Though Andy has a whole room full of toys and many of them are pretty awesome (Piggy bank Ham, Slink Dog and Rex to name a few), Woody is his favorite. As such, Woody kind of serves as a leader to the other toys and helps them all deal with the scariness of moving to a new house. Unfortunately, after Andy's birthday party, Woody is replaced by Andy's new favorite, Buzz Lightyear. At first, Woody shrugs this off, but soon he cannot ignore the fact that Buzz has not only Andy's attention but also that of all the other toys and he becomes very jealous. His jealousy accidently leads to Buzz being thrown out a window and all the other toys (lead by that asshole Mr. Potatohead) gang up on Woody. I always felt sorry for Woody during these scenes and I completetly understood his hatred for Buzz. Eventually, Woody and Buzz reach an understanding and by the end of the movie, have become buddies. In Toy Story 2, we get more of a backstory on Woody and learn that he was based on a character from an old TV show called "Woody's Roundup."
