Whoever found it probably didn't go to a bank, they went to one of those shady check cashing places. Your company's bank might be able to do something to get the money back from whoever they wired it to since it obviously wasn't you.

Your employer doesn't owe you anything just because you're too dumb to hang onto your own paycheck though.
