Yeah, but you put hated characters on the list too, people like Brandon.

Right, but just because a character is hated doesn't necessarily mean they're underrated. Most viewers despised Rich and Sue when Borneo was airing and Jerri a season later, but even their biggest haters would've been lying if they said they were anything less than incredibly entertaining. And for a more recent example, as unpopular as Randy was, I don't think anyone could imagine Gabon without him. Then you have people like Brandon or Roger from Amazon, who are pretty hated, but it almost seems like people just think "I hated Brandon when Africa aired, I don't exactly remember why, but I still hate him." He was incredibly entertaining but the only time he's ever acknowledged is when people are giving him 1s in popularity polls.

And you put Frank on the list because he lost to Silas.

That's a fair point; I'll give you that one. I still have no idea how Silas won that one by such a giant margin. But in my defense, Frank is hardly as acknowledged a contestant as Chris is. Everybody knew there were Chris detractors before the survey; there was no indication that Frank was so massively despised, enough to be beaten by Silas of all people. Maybe there really are that many fans who dislike Frank, but it came so out of nowhere that the only explanation I could think of is that people had forgotten about him. As I said, Frank was literally the last person I added to the list and I'll admit that the catalyst was that survey. Before that I tried to avoid taking pure popularity into account, although I guess you could argue that Savage and Osten may have broken that rule somewhat (although I still stand by their entertainment value being under-appreciated).

I think that the pre-All-Stars bias is highly apparent on Sucks, and the pro-female bias is equally apparent, hence why people like Tom and Chris and Earl get the most hate, despite being pretty good players and decent guys.

I agree on all these counts. In fairness, I definitely have a pre-ASS bias and do tend to be biased in favor of the males actually, which respectively probably explain why the entire top six on my list is pre-ASS players (although they only have a slight edge when you count the total list) and, combined with Sucks' pro-female bias, why there are more than three times as many men on the list as there are women.

Yul is the most overrated winner.

...And here is where I get murdered for saying it's Sandra.
