Gabon was the best Survivor season in years, good to see there are others out there who liked more than Micronesia. Both were good for different reasons, but Gabon was such a clusterfuck the entire way through with everyone except Jacquie contributing in some form. They didn't even need idols to make it entertaining. Although the fake ones were kind of nice to see play out, the season as a whole was awesome without some twist, the way Survivor should be. This is unlike Micronesia where the favorites and HII's dominated in the screen time, and had maybe two or three people with any shot at winning. Gabon brought back the early season feel where the editing had nothing to do with who comes out on top. They used what the characters gave them instead of forcing numerous confessionals from some random bore. That's unpredictibility at its best.
