I love this show. I am a huge fan of Bourdain, but for different reasons. I think Bourdain is more serious about the idea behind food and he is just damn hot.
Zimmern is just that kid that you could give a $1 and he would eat a bunch of smashed up food in Middle School. The foods he eats are shiteous. I think Alaska may have had some of the worst food, right along with Iceland.
I cannot remember the counrty he visited, but all in all one of the funniest episodes ever (not just of this show, but television in genaral) was when he visited a "medicine man" and the guy literally beat him with branches, spit fire at him, and rubbed him down with a guinea pig. It gets lost when trying to explain it, but seriously it was priceless. He looked so violated and he broke out in hives.
I rewatched it with my mom and she laughed so hard and was caught so off guard by it she literally wet her pants. She now refuses to watch him because she said it was one of the funniest things he ever saw that led to one of her most humiliating moments in her life.
