Yeah, so we see how popular this show is here by the resounding response to the finale.

Okay, I don't even like country music, and I've never watched this show before this season. But I came across it late one night and got roped in because I happen to like several of the contestants, namely Mickey, George, Taylor, Sheila, and Richard.

Overall I enjoyed the show, but gotta say I am incredulous as to the winner. While I do like Sheila and think she's very talented, I really thought her song was one of the worst.

I mean, we're all on the "train of love"? What. The. Fuck. ?

JR or RJ or whatever preceded his announcement with this shit about, "This person really laid it out there...showed their emotions through their song...blah blah blah." Are you fucking kidding me? That song was total fluff. Especially compared to Richard's or Tara's or even Taylor's and Mickey's. And this metaphor of a "love train"? Yeah, like that's never been done before!

It didn't even sound country--it was one of the LEAST country-sounding of the songs. It sounded like a gospel song.

Seriously. Is there a self-respecting country fan anywhere who would want to sing along with Sheila's "glorious train of love?" Glorious???

Unless I misunderstood, JR said they actually courted Sheila to be on the show. Then he picks her and her lame love train to win. Go figure.
