Those pictures tell us a story of what we think happens in a situation when a guy outs himself to his straight friends. The disappointment and slight disgust
that looks to be in JT's eyes and in Joe's gaze downward while Spencer looks on sheepishly.
I think this is misdirection, and is from a challenge or maybe after a discussion about strategy. I would hope the guys wouldn't react like that to Spencer coming out.
Todd's timing about dating Spencer is a bit suspect, but I agree with everyone that we can't see Spencer leaving yet, he hasn't had a story arc even begin until this episode. And this is a story that the editors would have glommed onto much sooner if it ended with his ousting this episode.
