I see no lemon wedge in that pic --> how was Grasshopper going to revive himself??? I may be a little green, but the few tieups I've done seen read about involved that fail safe. Anything more complex would require a sitter/partner (whoever left that mysterious shoeprint?).

Personally, I love that the old guy went out in such a bizarre way. Used to be in Hollywood everyone was guaranteed a sordid death. Of course, there was an unwritten rule between movie houses and the press that the icky stuff wouldn't be mentioned. Just enough to titillate and add to the mystique.
