You can say this show has grown since last season or say that it has completley changed for the worst... I like the former.
I loved the emphasis on the court room last season, but it has been nice to slightly remove ourselves from that element and flesh out these characters a little more. Albeit, with some of the cast getting lost in the shuffle from week to week. Blonde haired Public Defender dude has had virtually no screen time... I still don't know his name and I have been watching S2 while watching the S1 DVD - not good.
I like the increased use of Balco and Roz. Great actors, great characters. The exchange with Balco and Jerry at the end of last week's episode was just great work. I like the questioning of Jerry's ethics in general. People have been clammoring for that. As for Roz, her annoucing in the premiere that she would be taking on cases herself got me pumped, unfortunatley they haven't been in the court room that often.
Seems they just completley dropped the romance between blonde hair and Roz. It doesn't work, but some resolution would be nice. (Really depressing that I can't think of his name)
Anything involving Bobby from Brooklyn equals win for me, even if it is a silly, somewhat out of place stalker arc.
The bag of douche cop works for me. He is annoying and frustrating, but not the story itself.
Next week looks good. Thumbs up to S2 so far.
His name is Richard, and they call him "Richie Rich." And he has great suits!
