** 53. TRISH DUNN **
Trish is another one of my random loves that I had to boost higher than most people would consider. I loved PI in general and Trish was no exception. We didn't really get to see much from her, but she was always a pleasant, hardworking woman. I love that she recognized the threat Rupert posed and was willing to initiate a scheme to blindside him at TC. It's unfortunate for her that Mama Bear Sandra had to put a stop to that, and unfortunate for me that Trish was voted out instead
Some people probably remember that Trish enchanted a lesbian shopkeeper on her first day. While bartering for items the
lesbotron approached Trish and Sandra and told Sandra that she could take whatever as long as she could keep Trish (she specifically mentioned keeping
Trish's eyes, which is creepy and very scurry to me). Trish obliviously laughed and giggled along while embracing the woman. Sandra quickly deduced that
the shopkeeper "liked her liked her". And who can blame her.
On Trish's personality: Trish was really nice and very easy to get along with. During the early days of PI I thought Trish was one of Rupert's Angels along with Christa and Sandra, and I didn't like her as much then. Really it wasn't until her boot episode that she truly got to ~shine~. She really had an enthusiasm for the game and was not afraid to make big moves. I desperately wanted Trish to come back from the Outcast tribe but Lill coming back probably worked out for the best.
On Trish's gameplay: It's obvious that Trish was a nice woman with a beautiful soul, but she also had a very practical side that made her a shrewd player. I love when unassuming older female contestants casually bust out their heartless, backstabbing strategies. Trish was always respectful and very observant. She knew that Rupert held too much power in the tribe and approached Fairplay and the others to take him down permanently. She miscalculated Sandra and Christa's attachment to Ruper tho, sadly.
On Trish's placement: I put Trish as high as I reasonably could give that she's an early boot that few remember, but she is defo one of my undercover favorites and a very underrated player. My hope with this placement is that I've opened your hearts and minds to the little-known Trishownage. Embrace it. Cherish it. Love it.
