A lot of people are pissed off about the move. Last week, at the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS auction, Bobbie Eakes was on hand to auction off a tour of
the NY studio and lunch with AMC stars. Usually, these types of visits go for thousands of dollars, but this went for just a few hundred.
As they were describing the lot, Eakes said you'd get to walk around the sets and meet the cast and crew, and somebody in the crowd said audibly, "And meet the 200 people who are going to be losing their jobs right before the holidays."
