Seasons I enjoy
Australian Outback - one of the best seasons to ever be made. Great episodes, great characters, everyone had facetime, got kind of emotional near the end. Loved the extra episode (where Elisabeth was voted out), and had some of the best moments ever (Michael falling into the fire, the flooding, etc.). There wasn't anyone I hated too much, either.
Pearl Islands - again, one of the best seasons ever. This season also had great episodes and characters (Fairplay, Lill, Sandra, Rupert), most of whom made it far. I loved the pirate theme, loved when they found the treasure, LOVED the village bartering in Episode 1. Loved the winner as well. Not necessarily a great one, but one of the most entertaining.
Vanuatu - Loved Chris. Loved the fact that all the young athletic guys went pre-merge. Liked how Chris outlasted the women when he was the last one left at F7, and also thinking back on how he was the reason they lost the first challenge but went on to win. I liked all of the Final Four as well.
Palau - Loved how Ulong was totally wiped out pre-merge. Well I am not even sure if I can call it pre-merge, since there techinically never even was a merge. Well, pre-jury then. Tom was one of the most dominant winners ever. Winning most of the challenges and taking charge of Koror in episode 1. He would have been the first "perfect winner" if Coby hadn't cast that vote for Katie at the FTC.
Tocantins - It may have not been as exciting as some of the other seasons, but I still loved it. Taj was loveable, I loved the cross-tribal alliance (which never ended up going to the end anyway, but still), and it brought us Coach. Another reason I loved it is because it was a 16 person, 7 jury, Final 2 season, which is what I like the best. Location was pretty nice as well.
In the middle
Borneo - First season. Pretty boring. But it was classic, and that's good. Hatch was awesome. Not much to say about it. But definitely in the middle.
Africa - I didn't really like the first four episodes (mainly because of the bad half of Samburu getting the majority in Episode 3), but then came episodes 5 and 6 that got two of my least favorite castaways outta there. I loved some of the moments, such as the reward Lex and Tom went on. Very enjoyable to watch them in the hot air balloon and everything. Ethan was one of the most likeable winners in my opinion. Not a great season, but a fine one.
Thailand - Meh, it was alright. Robb Z and Shii Ann were two of my favorites and were missed when they went. Three others I liked were Ted (mainly in the F5 reward with Helen), Helen, and Jan. Brian was kinda boring as a winner but he did deserve it.
Amazon - First season where I actually hated the winner. I never liked Jenna and Heidi. However, apart from them, the strategy and gameplay was pretty good. I loved the way Rob played and he definitely should have won. I loved Christy as well, and it was sad to see that in the end it was her indecision that cose her. Matt was pretty cool, too. Not All-Star worthy, but I liked him. So this ranks in the middle.
Samoa (so far) - There was a time when some whiners' whinings here were starting to sway me on their side and want to say "omg fuck this season it sucks worst fucking season ever". But after rewatching the first couple episodes a couple of times, I've started to think "hey it's not that bad". I am starting to like Russell Hantz, even. Marisa getting the first boot was nice to watch again, then although I loved Betsy and hated seeing her go this early, it was somewhat cool watching Russell take her out as well. I know, maybe Russell isn't who we should give the credit to (or blame) for taking them out, but seeing the way Russell managed to take out those who he felt he couldn't control or were threatened by was pretty entertaining, even if the other tribemembers voted them out for different reasons. I haven't re-watched any of the later episodes yet (Ben - Liz), but when I do I'll like those as well. As a result, it's in the middle so far.
Seasons I didn't enjoy too much
All-Stars - Rob and Amber ruined it for me and them making the Final Two sucked. Pre-merge was definitely better for me than post-merge was. There we had a lot of other returning characters to watch. Hatch entertained, was more cocky than ever, Sue's quit was intense, Jenna M's was emotional, Rob C. got a taste of his own medicine, and Jerri outlasting both Colby and Ethan was awesome. But then came the merge where Boston Rob and Amber took control, took everyone out, and made the final. This season had one of the worst Final Threes ever. I don't know whether I should blame Jenna for not sticking with Rupert at F4 or not. Because if they were the finalists, Rupert would have won. But if Jenna did take the risk and vote for Rob, and had he gone, I doubt Rupert would have won the Final Immunity. He might have gotten third that way. Then say it's Jenna and Amber in the Final Two, who knows what would happen. Overall, I didn't like the way it ended. At all.
Marquesas - Wasn't terrible, but... it was kind of boring. Kathy was awesome, Boston Rob's boot was awesome, other than that, likeable people went out early and there wasn't much I can say I enjoyed about it.
Every other season I'll need to watch again before ranking them.
