I'm sticking by the notion that they really need to pair virtually every diva with a male counterpart. Let's be honest, most of the divas are useless
(wrestling ability aside). If you're not feuding for a title, you're probably not involved at all (not always, but usually). Beth with Santino was
great. Other than being a great pair, it got Beth involved in things when she wasn't going after the title. It's the same cliche thing over and over.
"Oh my god, you made a bitchy comment to me. I must have a meaningless feud with you now that has absolutely no buildup at all." The Trish/Lita feud
worked because there was also T&A and the Hardys. Ivory in the RTC worked so well. Molly Holly with Crash or Spike got her involved in other angles. This
could allow for the divas to actually build personalities and get more involved in matches that aren't just clusterfuck battle royals or ridiculous
12-women tag matches that last 2 minutes.
Alicia gets heat. That's great, but it's only a start. None of us care about her because other than the wedding planner, no one knows anything about her, thus, no one will care. Mickie is one of the few divas who was able to get over without being paired with a male at first. Jillian is one of the few who actually has a character. Also, some of the women can perform better when working with the men. Gail Kim could probably hit some great high spots because a guy is going to be able to sell the move more than a female could.
