I have no problem with strategy, Tullfan2. I want the strategy to be organic, and not based on something cheap and exploitative like the HII. The show shouldn't be about blindsides, but about why these blindsides happen. Why should I care if X goes home when I have no emotional investment in it? Even sports fans have emotional baggage when it comes to watching games. If it was merely about tactics and skill, there would be no emotional investment. And how can a static show like Survivor be suspensful? The suspense comes from the possibility of someone you like or hate going home.
