Regarding Buddy's allegience to Coach. Can't remember which season... maybe 2nd, when Buddy was kicked out of his house by his wife? Well, he went & lived with the Taylor's for a while (slept on the couch). I think Buddy is just repaying Coach for his generosity during his difficult time.
