He's not doing it to just teach ehr a lesson. He explained it. Juanita lost all her friends when she got pulled out and Carlos doesn't think it's
right for Gabby to basically abandon her to a tutor after that. It was when she told him how her being her tutor is hurting their relationship that he changed
his mind.
